Ahoy Fifth Maine community! We are excited to share with you a special, behind-the-scenes moment of the new exhibit, Abandon Ship! Mishaps and Maydays on Casco Bay with guest curator Susan Hanley.

October 11th and 12th are the last days to visit the new exhibit this season (we are closed October 10th for a private event). If you don’t get a chance to stop by, fear not! Abandon Ship will be on view all season next year, too!

Speaking of shipwrecks, did you catch in the news that last week’s nor’easter exposed the remains of a shipwreck on the shore of Nantucket? What other mysteries will the sea reveal? Only time and tempest will tell.
