The City of Escondido will host an Arbor Day tree-planting event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, meeting at Ascension Lutheran Church (1140 N Midway Dr). Volunteers of all ages are invited to help plant 125 trees in the surrounding neighborhood. Attendees should wear sturdy shoes and sun protection, with gloves and shovels recommended.
