- Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and urge them to pass legislation to restore and strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965 such as H.R.1/S.1, H.R.4 and S.2747. Note that Representative Issa voted no on H.R.1 (which passed the House but was blocked in the Senate by the filibuster) and H.R.4 (which also passed the House). See Demand your Senator Eliminate the Filibuster to Pass S. 1 and Support Democracy Reform with the For the People Act.

The Supreme Court struck down the CDC limited nationwide eviction moratorium, California eviction moratorium is set to expire at the end of September and County eviction moratorium expires last month.
