Be sure to confirm that you’re registered to vote at sdvote.com. If you’re not registered to vote, you can register at registertovote.ca.gov. The deadline is October 22, 2018. If you would like to request a vote-by-mail ballot, you can mail a request application to the Registrar Of Voters.

- Monday, September 17, 2018, 5:00-7:00 PM: Meet Paul McNamara who is running for Mayor of Escondido at Starbucks, 320 W. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92025. Share with Mac your ideas for getting Escondido back on track.
- Wednesday, September 19, 2018, 4:00-5:30 PM: Rally in front of at City Hall, 201 North Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025. We need change!

- Saturday, September 22, 2018, 2:00 PM: MegaWALK for Democrats! Meet at 2 PM at the Escondido Democratic Office, 105 E Grand Ave, Escondido, CA 92025. We will walk and then have a potluck so please bring a dish to share after the walk.

Monday
- Read-up on I received some of Alex Kozinski’s infamous gag list emails. Kavanaugh’s response baffles me, A Sexual-Misconduct Allegation Against the Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh Stirs Tension Among Democrats in Congress and California professor Christine Blasey Ford, writer of confidential Brett Kavanaugh letter, speaks out about sexual assault allegation [warning for description of attempted rape].
- Contact Senator Feinstein and Harris and ask them to call for the withdrawal of Justice Brett Kavanaugh from the SCOTUS nomination due to a credible accusation of sexual assault. It’s being planned that a committee vote for the nomination be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018.
Tuesday
- Read-up on How many people died in Hurricane Maria? An investigation.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask for his support of H.R.6103 to create a national commission investigating into the federal response Hurricane Irma and Maria. See Investigate the Federal Response to the Puerto Rico Hurricanes.
Wednesday
- Read-up on Detention of Migrant Children Has Skyrocketed to Highest Levels Ever, Family separation: as many as 1,000 parents are getting a second chance to stay in the US and Zero Tolerance, Infinite Problems.
- Comment on Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau’s proposed rule to overturn the Flores settlement and detain migrant children and their families indefinitely. Public comments end November 6, 2018.
Thursday
- Read-up on Mueller indictments: everyone charged so far in the Russia investigation.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask for his resignation for being indicted of conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, wire fraud, falsification of records and prohibited use of (~$250,000) campaign contributions.
Friday
- Join MoveOn to make videos of Real Voter Voices. Go to Move On Real Voters Voices and make a video about why you are voting for Ammar Campa-Najjar. These can really help.
- Join and wave signs for Paul McNamara for Mayor from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM. Contact Christine at christine8jackson@gmail.com for more info.
