Trump Impeachment
  • Read-up on Opinion | Thanks, Whistle-Blower, Your Work Is Done, Opening statement of Ambassador William B. Taylor and Trump impeachment inquiry: the week’s news, explained.
  • Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and tell them that you support the impeachment inquiry into President Trump’s abuse of power in requesting a favor of the President of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President and rival Presidential Candidate Joe Biden.  Tell them that you believe President Trump should be impeached and removed from office. Hunter Campaign Fund Misuse Trial
  • Read-up on Rep. Duncan Hunter reports spending on campaign mail and legal defense, plus two bar visits and a dove hunt and Prosecutors, lawyers for Margaret Hunter ask court to delay sentencing until April.
  • Contact Rep. Hunter and ask for his resignation for his indictment of conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, wire fraud, falsification of records and prohibited use of (~$250,000) campaign contributions.
Immigration
  • Read-up on Tally of children split at border tops 5,400 in new count.
  • Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and express concerns about continuing reports of inhumane treatment of asylum-seeking families. Express your support for legislations such as H.R.1069 (which prohibits unlicensed temporary emergency shelters for unaccompanied migrant children), S.388 (which improves resettlement process for unaccompanied migrant children), S.2135 (which ensures that children in U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) custody have timely access to appropriate medical screening and care as well as proper nutrition, hygiene and sanitation) and the end of mass detention of immigrants.
