Events
  • Monday, October 21, 2019, 6:00 – 8:00 PM: Escondido Community Advisory Group on Economic Development and Agriculture at Mitchell Room, Escondido City Hall, 201 North Broadway.  In advance read up on: Escondido’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), which was just updated last year.

Escondido Public Library
  • Read-up on the Pitfalls of Privatization especially about the failure of privatizing public goods.
  • Visit Escondido Library Watchdog website, a new effort to provide community oversight of the out-sourced public asset, the Escondido Public Library.  If you have concerns about the library, file a Notice of Concern here. 
Trump Impeachment
  • Watch Indivisible’s The Impeachment Daily Episode 10 - Quid pro quos happen all the time! 
  • Read-up on Who's Who In The Trump Impeachment Investigation and Trump at the center of Ukraine efforts against rivals, impeachment inquiry shows.
  • Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and tell them that you support the impeachment inquiry into President Trump’s abuse of power in requesting a favor of the President of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President and rival Presidential Candidate Joe Biden.  Tell them that you believe President Trump should be impeached and removed from office. Healthcare
  • Read-up on CBO: Pelosi bill to lower drug prices saves Medicare $345 billion.
