COVID-19 & Recovery
- Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and ask them to pass an inclusive recovery package. See Indivisible's Call to Action on Winning an Inclusive Recovery in the House and Winning an Inclusive Recovery in the Senate.
- Contact Supervisor Lawson-Remer and ask for the reinstatement of the county eviction moratorium given the ongoing economic recovery, pandemic and resurgence of COVID-19 cases in San Diego. The Supreme Court struck down the CDC limited nationwide eviction moratorium, California eviction moratorium has expired and County eviction moratorium expired last month.
Criminal Justice Reforms
- Read-up on San Diego County citizens' review board votes for reforms, to expand its authority
- Comment on Item #3 and #4 for October 19, 2021 of San Diego County Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting and support more investment in rehabilitation and equitable alternatives to incarceration.
