There will be a rally outside city hall before the city council meeting. THIS IS IT! Our final chance to stop the outsourcing of our library. Bring your signs, kids, and friends!

Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and ask them to co-sponsor S.1827 which extends funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program.

Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to co-sponsor H.R.3591 (or the American Hope Act), which would provide DREAMers in Rep. Hunter’s district a path to citizenship, as well as signing a discharge petition for the bill. Note that Rep. Hunter has stated that “I will not support any immigration reform effort, including DACA, that does not address border enforcement and put national security first” so make it clear that you want a clean bill, no amendments to fund a border wall or increase deportations. Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and ask them to pass a clean DREAM Act (S.1615) which protects DREAMers from deportation. No amendments to fund a border wall or increase deportations.
