- Explore SDC Redistricting Draft Map #5, Draft Map #6, Draft Map #7, Draft Map #8 and Draft Maps #9-12 Under Development (based on feedback from last week’s Public Hearing on November 1st).
- Comment on the SDC Redistricting Draft Maps in support of Draft Map #6 to unite Escondido with San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside and Carlsbad along the freeway 78. See Public Comment and Communities of Interest (COI).

- Explore California Redistricting Visualizations. Note that from November 2 to 4, 2021, Escondido is visualized as U.S. Congressional District VCD_SMESCPOW_1102 and State Assembly District VAD_VSME_1102 with San Marcos, Vista (part of for congressional), Hidden Meadows, Valley Center, and Fallbrook; while for State Senate District VSD_SDC_110, Escondido is with only Hidden Meadows and Valley Center. COVID-19 & Recovery

Voting Rights

- Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and urge them to pass legislation such as H.R.4/S.4 and H.R.1/S.1 to restore and strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Note that Representative Issa voted no on H.R.1 & H.R.4 which passed the House but was blocked in the Senate by the filibuster.
