Voting Plan
- Read-up on CalMatters’ California Election 2022 Voter Guide & California Supreme Court: Election 2022 Candidates. Escondido Municipal Election will include the following candidates: Paul "Mac" McNamara and Dane White for Mayor, Consuelo Martinez and Mike Johnson-Palomares for City Council District 1, and Joe Garcia and Jeff Griffith for City Council District 2 (both districts were recently re-districted). City ballot measures include: ¾ cent sales tax (Measure E), term limits (Measure F) & treasure compensation (Measure G).
- Read-up on What you need to know to vote in California's 2022 General Election, How to vote when you don't have an address or are experiencing homelessness and How to vote in jail or if you have a record.
- Check your voter registration and register to vote if you’re eligible to vote.
- Vote! The General Election will be this Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Mail ballots have been mailed to all registered voters and ballots can be dropped off at any postal offices or Ballot Drop Box Locations up to November 7th, including Escondido Public Library, North Inland Live Well Center at Mission Ave, Major Market at Center Parkway, Oakmont of Escondido Hills. Check your voting registration or Where’s My Ballot to track your ballot.
- In-person voting can be made at the following Vote Center Locations from October 29th to November 7, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Election Day, November 8th, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. In Escondido: Westfield North County Community Room from October 29th to November 8th and Central Elementary School Family Resource Room, Park Avenue Community Center Oak Room, Reidy Creek Elementary School, Rincon Middle School, Rock Springs Elementary School, Oak Hill Elementary School, Orange Glen High School, Rose Elementary School, and Del Lago Academy from November 5th to November 8th.
