EscInd: Weekly Action Plan for November 19, 2018
Welcome to Escondido Indivisible’s weekly action plan for November 19, 2018 and Happy Indigenous People Week! San Diego County Registrar of Voters last reported that there are ~199,000 outstanding ballots left to be processed and it might not be until Dec. 6, 2018 before election results are finalized, but as we emailed earlier, candidate Paul "Mac" McNamara is leading the Escondido mayoral race with 550 votes (1.62%) lead which will likely mean a new majority at the Escondido City Council. There are an estimates 34,224 total votes so far in the mayoral race which is ~3,156 more votes than in 2010 (with 31,068 votes) when turnout in Escondido was ~63%. Go Escondido voters!
