Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to support legislation to prevent gun violence, such as funding for gun safety education, tighter background check and registration for gun purchases, banning bump stock accessories. Hunter and let him know that you’re concerned about the upcoming tax plan, eliminations of tax deductions that help low-income & middle-class families in California, and the projected tax increases for middle-class tax in the next 8 years. See The Trump Tax Scam is Bad For You. Note that Rep. Duncan Hunter said GOP tax bill could cost Californians more than others, but he still supports it.

Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to co-sponsor H.R.3591 (or the American Hope Act), which would provide DREAMers in Rep. Hunter’s district a path to citizenship. Note that Rep. Hunter has stated that “I will not support any immigration reform effort, including DACA, that does not address border enforcement and put national security first” so make it clear that you want a clean bill, no amendments to fund a border wall or increase deportations.
