Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 4:30 PM:Escondido City Council Meeting at City Hall Council Chambers, 201 North Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025. **Agenda includes a request that the "City Council accept $117,334 in funding from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the FY 2017 State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP)," half of which will be used “purchase license plate readers (LPR)”**

Contact Assemblymember Waldron and ask her to supportSB-1346 which would ban bump stocks. The bill passed the State Senate 26-8 and has been referred to the Assembly Public Safety Committee for review. See CA StateStrong Newsletter.
Contact State Senator Anderson and ask him to support AB-2103 which requires a minimum of 8 hours live training to get a concealed carry permit; current policy only specified between 1-16 hours. The pill passed the State Assembly 57-20 and has been referred to the Senate Public Safety Committee for review. From Moms Demand Action: “Hi, I’m [name] and I’m a constituent from [city]. I'm calling on behalf of Moms Demand Action. I would love to see California join the other 25 states that require live fire training for a concealed carry permit.
