- Wednesday, March 20, 2019, 4:30 PM: Escondido City Council Meeting at City Hall Council Chambers, 201 North Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025. **Agenda includes amending the municipal code to move city council meetings to 6:00 PM.**
- Sunday, March 24, 2019, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Immigration: Why People Seek Asylum in the U.S. at Ramona Community Library, 1275 Main St, Ramona, California 92065.
Climate Change

- Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and reiterate your support of the Green New Deal, H.Res.109 and S.Res.59. Note: Senator Harris is a co-sponsor of S.Res.59. See Support the Green New Deal Resolution.
LGBTQI+ Rights
- Read-up on Military to begin enforcing Trump’s restrictions on transgender troops and Democrats reintroduce Equality Act to ban LGBTQ discrimination.
- Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and ask them to support H.R.1032 and S.373 to “allow transgender military members to continue their service”. See Support Legislation to Protect Transgender Troops.
- Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and express support H.R.5 and S.788 to “prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.” Both Senator Feinstein and Harris are co-sponsors of S.788.
Immigration
- Read-up on Dream and Promise Act: House Democrats introduce bill for DREAMers and TPS holders, Dream and Promise Act: An Important Step Forward for Our Communities and Fight All Forms of Family Separations.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to support H.R.6 to “provide a path to citizenship for Dreamers, and legal permanent residency to Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) recipients”.
- Contact Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and express support for S.662 to provide access for legal counsel of unaccompanied migrant children. Both Senator Feinstein and Harris are co-sponsors of S.662.

White Extremism
