Government Reform
- Read-up on HR 1: Democrats pass sweeping bill to get money out of politics.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and express disappointment in his no vote on H.R. 1 which seeks to pass “campaign finance reform, strengthening the government’s ethics laws, and expanding voting rights”. H.R. 1 passed the House by 234 - 193. See H.R. 1: Strengthening Our Democracy and 4 Key Elements of HR1.
- Contact Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and ask them to support H.R. 1 for various government reforms.

Police Brutality
- Read-up on Sacramento protests reignited one year after Stephon Clark’s was killed and Sacramento students march for police use-of-force bill after Stephon Clark findings.
- Contact Assemblymember Waldron and State Senator Jones and ask them to support AB-392 which “requires [police officers] to use tactics to de-escalate a situation or use alternatives to deadly force when reasonable”. Immigration

- Contact Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and ask them to co-sponsor S.J.Res.10, a resolution of disapproval which terminates President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency for border wall funding.
