EscInd: Weekly Action Plan for March 11, 2018
Sorry, resending to correct event times.
Welcome to Escondido Indivisible’s weekly action plan for March 12, 2018! An update on Rep. Duncan Hunter’s activities:
- He’s avoiding us, his constituents, and breaking his promises last year of hosting public town halls by instead hosting 2 limited, short-notice tele-town halls on Feb. 27th & on March 7th, none of which were advertised on his website. This is despite there being a recess from Feb 19 – 23 and an upcoming on Mar 26 – Apr 6, 2018.
- He’s sending a mailer campaigning against a nonexistent federal gas tax increase to his constituents.
So go ahead and contact Rep. Hunter and let him know that you’ve been unhappy about how he is representing us, asking him for more public town halls and for him to listen to all his constituents that he is supposed to represent.
