Live broadcast of the meeting will be at sandiegocounty.gov here Agenda includes item #04, 12, 14 & 22 on SDC COVID-19 response updates and proposed actions. Public comments may be made via eComment service or via email to publiccomment@sdcounty.ca.gov.
- Wednesday, June 3, 2020, 6:00 PM: Escondido City Council Meeting via teleconference. Live broadcast of the meeting will be at escondido.org here. Agenda includes item #8 on Membrane Filtration Reverse Osmosis Facility Project. Public comments may be made via Public Comment Form.

- Contact Assemblymember Waldron and State Senator Jones and express support for AB 2054 which “will establish the Community Response Initiative to Strengthen Emergency Systems (C.R.I.S.E.S.) Act pilot grant program, to fundamentally improve emergency responses for vulnerable populations in California, by strengthening, expanding and promoting community-based responses to emergency situations” ("the first step to ending policing of homelessness, mental health, etc."). Local COVID-19 Response
- Read-up on COVID-19 Cases Rise To 7,240, Supervisors Consider Eviction Ban Next Week and Board of Supervisors’ meeting agenda item #22 on “Extending Protections For Tenants And Small Businesses Affected By The Novel Coronavirus”.
- Contact Supervisor Gaspar and Board of Supervisors and express support for an eviction moratorium extension due to COVID-19. Ask for a rent & mortgage moratorium be enacted as well.
- Note that in 7 days from May 24th to May 30th, San Diego County had 780 new positive cases, 92 new hospitalization cases, 16 new intensive care cases and 20 new death cases (lower numbers than past 4-5 weeks but SDC still “has the third highest number of coronavirus cases among the state's 58 counties and the third most deaths”).
