Escondido Redistricting
- Comment on Item #14 on Escondido Recommended Redistricting Plan (PDF) Map 2E. The Escondido Redistricting Commission approved Map 2E which will be presented to the City Council for a Public Hearing on March 2nd. On March 16th, Map 2E will be up for approval by the City Council. Escondido Budget
- Complete Escondido City’s survey on “local community priorities and City service needs” for the budget as the city is facing “an $8 million budget gap” and call for more funding to community-based programs and services. Remember that “budget gap/deficit/efficiency” is the justification used for outsourcing our public library to an out-of-state private company and closing our East branch public library. COVID-19 & Recovery

- Contact Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and ask them to pass an inclusive recovery package under H.R.5376. Note that Representative Issa voted No on expanding child tax credits and universal preschool for children ages 3 and 4 among other “safety-net” expansions.
