COVID-19 Response
  • Read-up on Local Vaccine Rates Highlight Barriers Facing Black and Latino Communities and San Diego County COVID-19 Vaccination Rates Highest In Wealthy ZIP Codes.
  • Contact Supervisor Lawson-Remer and express concerns about the lifting of regional stay-at-home order. Tell her that you’re concerned about still widespread community spread of COVID-19 & variant strains (we’re up at 22.2 case rate and 22 community outbreaks).
  • Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein, Senator Padilla and urge them to pass additional COVID-19 relief and $2,000 in direct stimulus payments. See Demand your Representatives build on Biden’s Rescue Plan to pass bold relief & Support the Biden-Harris Coronavirus Rescue Plan.
Voting & Government Reforms
  • Read-up on State GOP lawmakers propose flurry of voting restrictions to placate Trump supporters, spurring fears of a backlash and Georgia Republicans File Sweeping Elections Bill To Limit Early And Absentee Voting.
  • Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and ask them to support H.R.1 & S.1 to strengthen our democracy. See Indivisible Democracy Guide, Indivisible Guide on H.R. 1: Strengthening Our Democracy and Support Democracy Reform with H.R. 1/S. 1.
  • Contact Assemblymember Waldron and State Senator Jones and ask them to support AB-37 to extend vote by mail to all elections in California.

U.S. Postal Service
  • Listen to The U.S. Postal Service In 2021 After A Busy 2020. 
  • Contact Representative Issa, Senator Feinstein and Senator Padilla and ask them to support H.R.695 & S.145 to repeal the USPS pre-fund retirement mandate which is causing an undue burden on the department. Senator Feinstein is currently co-sponsor of S.145. See Keep the Postal Service Solvent with the USPS Fairness Act.
