EscInd: Weekly Action Plan for August 27, 2017
Welcome to Escondido Indivisible’s weekly action plan for August 28, 2017. As our country deals with Charlottesville, Hurricane Harvey and their aftermaths, President Trump on Friday banned transgender people from enlisting in the military and pardoned Joe Arpaio, who recently was found in contempt of court (and Phoenix New Times outlined the harm Arpaio had done to Phoenix residents over the past 23 years). The Trump administration continues to do real harm to us and our country. See What to Do About Charlottesville & Hurricane Harvey: How to help victims of the Texas storm for charitable giving suggestions. We must continue to #resist.
