Fighting Anti-Semitism and White Extremism
- Read-up on California Synagogue Shooting Leaves 1 Killed, 3 Injured and Trump policies hobble fight against white supremacist terror threat.
- Share Stand with Chabad Poway and Help Victims of Poway San Diego Synagogue Shooting.
- Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and ask them to take legislative actions combating white extremism and hate crimes in United States. Ask them to support H.R.1931 and S.894 which “require[s] DHS, the FBI and the Justice Department to address right-wing violent extremism and require training and reporting on countering domestic terrorists”. Note: Senator Harris is a co-sponsor of S.894.
Police Use of Force

- Contact Assemblymember Waldron and State Senator Jones and ask them to support AB-392 which “requires [police officers] to use tactics to de-escalate a situation or use alternatives to deadly force when reasonable”. See Indivisible CA: StateStrong script for CA AB392 2019.
Voting Rights
- Read-up on New Voting Laws Under Debate In Arizona, Texas And Tennessee Could Lower Turnout and Prison Gerrymandering Project: The Problem and Solutions.
- Contact Assemblymember Waldron and State Senator Jones and ask them to support ACA-6 which will “ask California voters to restore the right to vote to people on parole in the 2020 ballot.” See Free the Vote for Californians on Parole (ACA 6) and Free the Vote Act (ACA 6 & AB 646).
- Contact Rep. Hunter, Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris and ask them to support H.R.1275 and S.549, which will “modernize voter registration, promote access to voting for individuals with disabilities, protect the ability of individuals to exercise the right to vote in elections for Federal office,” while H.R.1 is stalled in the Senate.
