Events
- Wednesday, January 15, 2025, 5:00 PM: Escondido City Council Meeting at City Hall Council Chambers, 201 North Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025. Agenda includes Item #6 on Measure I Citizens Oversight Committee Interviews and Appointments. Live broadcast of the meeting will be at escondido.12milesout.com here (When a meeting is in session, a red "Live Streaming - City Council Meeting now in progress" button will be displayed at the top-right corner). Public comments may be made via Public Comment Form.

Climate Change

- Contact Representative Issa, Representative Peters, Senator Padilla and Senator Schiff and ask them to pass more legislation and funding to address climate change.
Criminal Justice

- Contact Assemblymember Patel and State Senator Jones and ask them to pass more legislation and funding to help improve conditions and make it more easier for incarcerated firefighters to continue their firefighting work after incarceration.
Homelessness

- Contact the Escondido City Council and ask them to fund more emergency shelter beds and community-based services to meet the immediate needs of our community such as a Safe Sleeping Site Program similar to San Diego City, a Safe Parking Program similar to Encinitas, Oceanside or Vista and a Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement similar to La Mesa.
