Celebrate John Lewis, Recommit to Non-Violent Social Change
As we prepare to celebrate the amazing John Lewis and show that good trouble lives on, it is a good time to remind all of us the importance of non-violent resistance.
First, check out this incredible video celebrating John Lewis.(Big Thanks to Amalia Martinez!)
At the protest remember:
At all times, remain peaceful. This is critical.
If agitators or opposition folks are there, do not engage agitators. Stay calm and friendly.
Stay out of the roads and do not block passage of pedestrians who want to pass through.
Obey all directions of safety personnel.
Look out for each other.
These are difficult times, but we are together and can keep each others spirits up. Have fun, use humor, stay light, and keep joy in our resistance. See you all soon!

Good Trouble Lives On. We will be to protesting the Trump administration again this Thursday, July 17th, the fifth anniversary of the death of civil rights leader and former congressman John Lewis....
