Did You Know?July is Disability Pride Month, and it has its own flag, designed by Ann Magill, a writer with cerebral palsy. Originally proposed in 2019, Magill updated the design in 2021 to the one below, to better accommodate people whose disabilities are worsened by visual triggers. 
Normally for months that celebrate marginalized groups, I donate a percentage of the net profit for that month to local and national non-profit organizations serving (and preferably led by) marginalized people from those groups. Read my latest blog post to learn several reasons why that model does not work for this month, especially now, and how you can get involved in building networks of mutual care for people who are disabled in your community.
