August update: crowdfunder results, a new map, and more

We hope your summer's going well! August is always a bit quieter, but the DCC team is looking forward to meeting in person in London soon.
TL;DR
The LandExplorer crowdfunder closed, having smashed its target! Thank you to everyone who backed us. Full results below.
The Cooperative World Map has been rebuilt: fresh data up to 7 May 2026, and now available in Spanish, Hindi and French.

We set out to raise £8,000 and ended up with £9,210… 15% over target!
That money goes straight into funding the next phase of LandExplorer's development, and none of it could have happened without everyone who donated and spread the word, so thank you! We're organising and sending out rewards to backers now, so keep an eye out.
An updated Cooperative World Map
Our other big news: the Cooperative World Map has had a full update.
It now lists over 84,000 co-ops worldwide (data current as of 7 May 2026), and the interface is now fully translated into Spanish, Hindi and French.
Behind the scenes, we've been fixing bugs and tidying up the interface. Mykomaps, the engine that runs the map, has had a batch of fixes too, so browsing should feel noticeably smoother.
