Hello Covid...
A quick post-and-run post-diagnosis
I’m going to make this really, really quick. I was officially diagnosed with Covid on Monday after symptoms showed up on Saturday night.
I was planning to get back to normal productivity post-Pesach, but that’s not going to happen until next week at the earliest. I’m boosted so it could have been really worse. Right now, it’s no different than a cold—more like an upper respiratory infection.
I’m hoping it doesn’t morph into a LRI because URIs are annoying and frustrating enough as it is. The congestion is enough to prevent me from having a nice night of sleep with all the tossing and turning just to breathe through my nose. Toss in those awful coughs that come with LRIs and ugh.
Thanks to getting ahead of my schedule, I had reviews scheduled to run through this morning. Unfortunately, I’ve had to cancel my attendance at a pair of press screenings. I’m not going to make myself write a review if I don’t have the right headspace or focus to write one.
The part that does suck about getting Covid right after Pesach ended is that I hadn’t reloaded on groceries post-chag. I haven’t thought as far as Shabbos. I’m in self-quarantine through at least Friday, but I’m nowhere near prepared for a solo Shabbos if it comes to that.
