and keeping it alight in busy times.
Hello Reader,
It has been sometime since my last entry. Only recently, have I been finding the spark to reignite my drive to pursue my creative interests again, this included. So what happened?

Life I suppose. When working long hours, a 2 hour commute every working day and a busy, active household, prioritising what to focus on after a long day gets difficult. Though there’s still hours in the day, finding the energy to pick something up after working, commuting and prepping for the next day becomes difficult. Some things fall to the wayside as a result. Adjusting to my environment during the winter, paired with many long, active days working took most of my creative energy out of me.
But it’s not all just work I’ve been busy on!
Since the last entry, I have also travelled to Wellington, embarked on a two week road-trip across the South Island, which after being in Auckland for virtually the entire time, was very refreshing and invigorating and planned a return visit to Australia over the Christmas period!

Fitting that as Spring is at its peak, does my longing to create things again begin to surface once more. The days get longer, flowers burst in multiple colours and subsequently, new ideas emerge. The only adversity to overcome is to remain persistent in doing something creative everyday, be it creating, learning, being inspired or enjoying some personal down-time guilt-free, especially now that my work period is ramping up further for the next month. Oh and of course, not trying to do everything all at once again… a common problem I myself have done a great deal.
But I shall to the best of my ability, get back into writing new entries to you readers and share more of my experiences and lessons I can impart onto you.
