October is approaching, and with it looms my favourite convention! You’re receiving this as I head out to a cabin in the wood to chill with my closest friends, but I have a few cool things ongoing or coming soon that I wanted to talk about!

The wonderful Elyse Carlson (who, among other things, has built a whole list of queernormative SFF authors selling direct) put together an itchio bundle with a wide variety of SFF -punk subgenres. I, of course, will be representing solarpunk with Snowstorm & Overgrowth. I thought this was a cool idea: cyberpunk, steampunk, solarpunk alone are such different vibes and stories, it promises to be a good and varied bundle.

Here’s the image with all books in it! You can get all of them for $24! The bundle ends on October 1, so don’t dawdle!

Can*Con will soon be upon us! From October 16-18, I will be in Ottawa for this annual SFF convention. I love Can*Con, it is full of wonderful, clever, funny people. I always learn and laugh so much.

This year, I also have a small event entirely dedicated to The Chronicles of Nerezia, and especially to its story structure. I’m also vending with Brittany M. Willows, who wrote the awesome Cardplay Duology. If you want a hardcover, let me know ahead of time so I can bring it; I’m leaving them behind for space this time.

I’m really excited! Fate would also have it that all my things are on Saturday this time. Whew, I’m gonna be busy.

Come see me if you’re in the area!

Happy Fall everyone! It feels well and truly here now.
