Two Weeks to Go!
Good morning folks,
We're two weeks out now from the first Sheffield Comic ARts Fair (SCARF) which has consumed most of my waking hours for the past few months - at this point I'm firmly in the bit of Wayne's World 2 where Wayne is convinced that he's made a terrible mistake and it's all going to go pie-shaped.
Let's hope not, eh?
Anyway, this is just a short reminder for any Sheffield or nearby folk to come along - it's on October 10th, from 10am to 5pm, and it's at Trafalgar Warehouse which is bang in the middle of the city centre just down from Division Street. Completely free entry, tons of amazing comic creators to chat to/buy books from, kid's workshops at 11am and 2pm, Graphic Novel Reading Room with a cosy corner for reading and refreshments and on top of all that, there’s a handy IG video at the link below:
The first 50 people through the door will get a free SCARF tote bag lovingly screen-printed by the wonderful Rogue Print Co and stuffed with goodies, so you have something to carry all those comics in. Incentives!
I also spoke to Exposed Mag Sheffield about the whole thing, which you can see here:
Please do come along and help to justify the amount of time/effort/money I'm sinking into this thing!
All the best,
