CVMC e-News – 19th April 2026

When Alan and Chris Dodds were about to move Alan asked that I include their new address for four weeks – I thought that that was a bit much, but here we go for the umpteenth time – because last week it was the Post Code that was incorrect. So, for one last time Alan and Chris Dodds new address is: 34 Cecil Road, Lancing, W. Sussex BN15 8HP  Right, I hope that’s done.

Just one more thing. I am away for 5 days from the 21st – what passes for a weeks holiday in the Sparkes household – so the e-News for the 23rd will be being prepared early.  Anything which is happening in the last week of April or first week of May – and you would like mention of here - I’ll need to know by the April 20th.  Thank you.

And for Willand - And another thing – or two… There is an opening for volunteers to the role of Welcomers to the Sunday services in Willand (includes opening and preparing the church for the services).   Also, anyone who feels able to assist at Holy Communion as Chalice bearer would be most welcome.  Training and guidance would be provided.

If you are interested, please contact Lesley Smith, Churchwarden, to discuss.

If you’d like to help but prefer to keep Sundays clear, Paul Hockey would be delighted to welcome you onto the Church Door Opening rota in Willand. Being on that rota entitles you to unlock and lock up the church throughout the week, Mondays to Fridays. The task would fall to you every five or six weeks.  Happy to help?
