Special Prayer Requests

  • Pastor Mark Herzer - Please continue to pray for Mark that the Lord would use his new medication to strengthen his heart. He is scheduled for a heart MRI in Bethlehem on June 16th.

Pray also for Martha as she cares for her mom (Jan), and that the Lord might have mercy on Jan and open her eyes to receive Christ. Jan has recently had a stroke and is now confined to a wheelchair.

  • Tim Roof - Tim is home and is regaining his strength. Pray that the Lord would sustain both Tim and Donna, physically and emotionally.
  • Patty Carnes - Hernia surgery is scheduled for this Monday, June 1st. Thanks to all who have offered rides to and from the hospital!
  • Jeff & Elena Kermah - May the Lord sustain them as they adjust to the various problems with water, electricity, and thunderstorms damaging critical electrical components.

Catechism Review

Don’t forget to keep up with your Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC)! We are learning Q&A #58 this week:

Q. 58. What is required in the fourth commandment?

A. The fourth commandment requireth the keeping holy to God such set times as He hath appointed in His word; expressly one whole day in seven, to be a holy sabbath to Himself.

Upcoming Events

June 3rd - Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting via Zoom. We will read and discuss a passage in Jeremiah, and spend some time in prayer. Contact Pastor Mark or one of the elders if you would like to receive the weekly Zoom link.

Graduate Corner

As we are entering graduation season, we thought it would be nice to take some time to recognize some of our graduates from the past couple years.

Miguel Gonzalez (High School, 2024) - Miguel is going for a degree in Nursing, which will take another two years (D.V.) Please pray for Miguel as he undergoes the trials and tribulations in his studies.

News and Announcements

Sunday Afternoon Book Studies - We will be taking a sabbatical from these studies for the summer.

New Streaming Options - We are now livestreaming directly to Sermon Audio which simulcasts to FaceBook as well. Sermon Audio calls it a Webcast and you can find it on the church's SermonAudio page. As before, you can also view using the church’s Facebook page.

Peace and Grace to you,
