Mark's procedure has just begun. The triple bypass can take several hours to complete. After that, Mark will be in recovery several hours coming out of anesthesia. Martha and Calvin are together at the hospital.

Let us pray for peace of heart for Martha, Calvin, and the rest of the family. May they know the comfort of the God of all comfort as they wait for results. Let us pray for skill, focus, success for the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other technicians, and nurses during the surgery. May the Lord strengthen Mark's body and sustain him during this procedure.

May God have mercy on Mark and on all of us that we might not have sorrow upon sorrow. (Phil. 2:7). God is the absolute, sovereign God, and He will do what is good and right. Amen.
