Good morning

Today is January 6, 6 years from when President Trump tried to steal an election. He failed. Somehow he was elected again four years later and is now demolishing our government. I quote from Heather Cox Richardson’s quote of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address

Lincoln asked Americans to “take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion,” and to resolve that “these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

We must continue acting to show our devotion.

Tell her to sign the War Powers Act to prevent Trump from taking over Venezuela and attempting to invade other countries in our hemisphere.

The War Powers Act is a law designed to define and limit the President’s authority to deploy U.S. armed forces without congressional approval. Its stated purpose is to ensure that decisions about entering or continuing armed conflict involve both the executive and legislative branches, reflecting Congress’s constitutional power to declare war.

Congress has ceded enough of its power to this regime we must stop it.

Remind her that she hasn’t been elected, just appointed, but she must listen to her constituents.
