If you own property in another state that has a Democratic Senator, please call or email them to encourage them to remain strong and not give in to the funding of Homeland Security. Here is a script

“I am a constituent from ( your address). I want the Senator to stand firm on the DHS funding. ICE has become a lawless agency that needs to be abolished. But for now, we want no masks, body cameras, clear identification on all ICE agents. They must conform to the same standards as local police.

We want judicial warrants before arrests can be made and oversight at detention facilities. DHS must reform hiring, screening and training, and fire those agents breaking the law.

DHS personnel must be held accountable for improper use of force and allegations of misconduct.

Nothing less will do. I expect Democrats to play hardball no concessions, no caving and no more stop gap funding bills. Republicans are on the wrong side of public opinion, the law and history. They have no leverage. Make them yield. You should not.”
