Ginger and I had a great meeting with James Martin and his campaign manager, Tara Flomehoft yesterday.

We wanted to know how Treasure Coast Indivisible could help the campaign the most. Their answer was to canvass and phone bank. Talking to individuals, Democrats, disillusioned Republicans and Independents, person to person makes the bigger difference in getting out the vote.

We (Ginger and I) plan to spend the month of October organizing and joining other groups to canvass for James and our democratic candidates. We hope you will join us. It really is interesting and easy and a good way to get exercise. People who don’t want to talk to you, won’t. But those that do are curious or already on board.

James told us how he is going to tag Mast with 3 main points. Affordability and the economy, clean water, and getting big money out of politics. In each case he can point to Mast’s votes with MAGA.

Let me just say that we both left the meeting very excited about our chances to unseat Brian Mast.

We are planning our first meeting of the fall on Thursday, 17 at 7:00. It will be a ZOOM meeting and we will send the link closer to the date. We hope you will try to join us so we can plan how you can help us help James and all the Democrats on the ballot.
