Are you bringing your ID to vote?
Hi Callers!
Welcome back to 5 Minute Midterms! Last week you got familiar with your voting options and deadlines. Now buckle up as we head into Week 3:

Check Your ID Requirements
Voter ID requirements vary a lot by state and some states are more strict than others. (Go figure.) Also, these rules change more often than you might think, so don’t assume it will be the same as the last time you voted!
Here are the main things you need to know:
Photo ID
Does your state require a government-issued photo ID, or will any photo ID do?
Does it need to be current, or is an expired ID still okay?
No Photo ID Required?
Some states accept non-photo ID, but they may ask for more than one form. Do you know what counts?
A few states don't require ID at all for most voters, but you may need it if you’re a first-time voter.
Voting by Mail
Most states just need your signature to verify a mail ballot, but a handful of states require more, like a witness signature or a copy of your ID. What’s required in your state?

Week 3 TL;DR
Find out if your state requires ID, what are acceptable types of ID and whether it needs to be current.
