8. Scorching: Europe is becoming a “risk sink” for global crises. The world exports wars, climate damage and migrants, Europe imports the consequences. It sits between Russia’s aggression, Middle East chaos and Sahara heat, collecting security threats, inflation and political backlash while having limited leverage upstream.

9. Blazing: The center left and center right are quietly losing the argument to physics and geography. You cannot promise “order” when your continent is literally on fire and your borders are porous.
