It picks up a year after When Shadows Stir. Jace won. There were banners. And this book is about what happens to a seventeen-year-old after everyone decides he’s a hero. The first ten chapters are attached. They’re revised but not final — which is the whole point of sending them. I want to know how they actually read before I lock anything down. If you get through them, three questions. Short answers are fine. One-word answers are fine.

1. Did you stop reading anywhere? If so, where? This is the one I most need. “I got bored around chapter 6” is worth more to me than anything nice you could say.
