The Zevvletter #3 — Data bundles, free gigabytes for life and the evolution of our logo

Hello! You’re getting this email because at some point you signed up for updates about Zevvle, the mobile network built for you. If you don’t want to get these emails, definitely unsubscribe (link below) — we only want to send these to you if you look forward to getting them. ✌️

Happy Friday,

Enough of the intro, onwards!

Bundles of data

We’ve started offering data bundles between 1 and 60 GB. More data, better budgeting, unlimited tethering and EU roaming (when that’s a thing again). You can find the pricing on our homepage.

This may come as a surprise to some of you; after launching with pay-as-you-go last year we were fairly adamant on not doing bundles. You can read the backstory on our forum, and our blog for the full story — Undles of bundles.

As always, this doesn’t affect existing customers — you’re welcome to stay on our existing plan.

Free data for life

Today, we’re announcing Zevvle Rewards — for every person you sign up, you’ll both get 1 GB per month as long as you’re both members.

We considered a bunch of options for this program, but most were fleeting delights. We’re happy to offer something that lasts. You’ll need to be on one of our new plans, and you can read the full story on our blog (henceforth The Zevvlog).

We’ve also hidden an easter egg in-app; the first person to find it and send us a screenshot gets my referral and 1 GB per month for life (as I won’t be leaving Zevvle unless Vodafone really up their game, it truly will be for life).

The evolution of our logo

In case you fancy some Zevvle history in meme form:

We know, we know… 🤦‍♂️

In other news

Virgin Media and O2 are joining forces, assuming the Competition Commission doesn’t say anything — European regulators blocked the acquisition of O2 by CK Hutchison (i.e., Three mobile) in 2016, so stay tuned.

News on the grapevine has it that a British-baked mobile network with a red-zed logo is sending waves of shock through their executive teams…

Have a great weekend!
