November 2024 Updates
ZERO at the Equip Expo, new auto-adjust spray feature, and other cool project that JKV has been working on.
As the fertilizing season winds down, are you thinking about your equipment purchases for the 2025 season? If you haven't driven the GR-96 by ZERO Turf Machines yet, now would be the perfect time!
We are receiving a great amount of positive feedback from those who have tested it. We are sure you are going to love it as well.
ZERO at the Equip Expo
From October 16th through 18th, we showcased the GR-96 fertilizer spreader at the Equip Expo in Louisville, Kentucky via both an indoor booth as well as an outdoor demo area. Visitors were delighted by the simple, clean design of the GR-96 and commented how they just don't see much that could ever break... We definitely agree with that assessment! And of course, just about any operator appreciated its whisper-quiet operation.
Auto-Adjust Spray
In our demos so far, one of the most requested feature has been the auto-adjust spray. With a typical spray system, your spray rate out of the nozzle is constant. That can easily lead to fertilizer burns whenever you slow down!
So of course, we got right down to working on adding the auto-adjust spray to the GR-96. With this update, the spray rate will adjust to your driving speed, so that you can be sure that you are laying down the correct amount of liquid no matter how fast or slow you are driving. And at the slowest speed (e.g. during a zero turn), the spray will stop completely.
We would love to have you test out this feature and hear what you think. At the end of the day we are designing this machine for you, and we want to make sure it is just how you prefer it. Contact us about a demo today!
Did you know?
JKV Engineering, the team that designed and developed the GR-96, regularly takes on other fascinating engineering projects to help their clients. For example, while one half of the team was busy at the Equip Expo, the other half of the team was up in Michigan finishing out a lunar rover demonstrator for NASA!

For this project, JKV was responsible for the drive system electronics and its control logic.
Everything that we learn from working on projects like this, helps us to develop a turf machine that is reliable, and feels great to operate.
Ready for a Test Drive?
If you missed us at the Equip Expo, don't worry! Contact us today and we will be more than happy to schedule a test drive for you. If you are far away from Cincinnati Ohio, a video call might be a great way to let you see the machine in action and ask questions.
