um
So none of that went as planned. Nothing is going to go as planned for a good long while, it seems like.
God and science and fate and a lot of other forces I don't understand willing, though, my book still comes out on March 31. All of the events around it have been cancelled; however
- I will be signing and personalizing copies ordered through Skylight Books. (If you want to get yours from another indie, I won't tell, and I will sign it at a later date.)
- If you're an audiobook person, LibroFM will allow you to hear Jorjeana Marie bringing Lulu to life while supporting a local indie (instead of Jeff Bezos, booo).
- If you want an ebook, that's available too.
- Libraries should be able to loan you digital copies as well; you'll have to find your own links for that.
I have a couple of pieces coming out in the next few weeks, so you will be hearing from me about them, and in all likelihood about some particulars of life in isolation. (I'm just now heading back from the writing retreat-- it was just me and two other people in this house, and so many empty beautiful trails to hike that it didn't make sense to hurry home, necessarily.)
In the mean time, I hope so much that you and yours have safe spaces to shelter in, and enough food to eat, and a stable internet connection that will allow you to FaceTime incessantly until we can all be together again for real.
Love,
Zan
