Week ???
Unfortunately, I don't have much to write about this week.
For the past few days, I've been running moss on student projects for the course I TA for. I'm not sure if the shift to online learning has something to do with it, but it looks like we have a lot more cases in which moss has flagged submissions for review.
Some of the submissions I have reviewed are quite blatantly cases of misconduct (e.g. multiple lines of identical code, not even with changes to variable names or control-flow), while others are harder to decipher. This is possibly one of the worst parts of not just being a teaching assistant, but being an educator in general.
I expect the last few weeks of the term to be incredibly hectic. CPSC 509 has a take-home exam at the end of the term that I'm incredibly anxious of (homework for that class take me a non-trivial amount of time to complete), our CPSC 547 (InfoVis) needs a bit more polish, and I wonder if our project is complex enough to be deemed a project of adequate scope. I don't even want to think about CPSC 513 (formal verification), but at least we're closer to an idea than we were last week.
