Prates defeats Magny (KO)
Not quite sure how Magny wins this one unless Prates smokes a carton Saturday morning. Even then its close. Magny on the downhill slope here and Prates just wins everywhere with the exception of a sneaky sub. Prates more than likely will catch Magny inside of 10 minutes. Wild lines on this fight.
De Ridder defeats Meerschaert (SUB)
De Ridder is a beast and its crazy to think the ONE double champ is heading to the massive Apex event in his debut. GM3 will stand as a proper gatekeeper and an absolute live dog. I expect this fight regardless to provide the judges a restroom break.
Bolanos defeats Romious (TKO)
Bolanos is a live dog on my end. He’s not a world beater and if he gets taken down its always mysteries, but he has a shot to crack this guy. Romious gets KO’d in 29 seconds then goes on to Armbar a 15-28 fighter to earn a shot on Contender Series. Sure he won a decision there but against a suspect guy. I just can’t back Romious Saturday or maybe ever. Romious said “his dream” was to fight in the UFC. See Bolanos’ nickname.
Robertson defeats Pinheiro (SUB)
Pinheiro ain’t horrible but she also got sub’d by Angela Hill who has count em.. 1 submission wins across 31 fights. Robertson looks better than ever as of late and in her last five victories, she’s been able to lock in a sub. Four of them she tapped her opponent, and the other she TKO’d. She’s won four of her last five, and the one L she got taken down 3 times and had 100 strikes landed on her. I just don’t see that happening here and rather Robertson locking something in.
Abdul-Malik defeats Todorovic (KO)
Malik has those hands and Todorovic has a tendency to hang that chin out there. I will be highly surprised if this one goes over as Abdul-Malik is a fast starter and Todorovic gets off game plan pretty fast. Todorovic always invites the melee. Good fight to start the main card.
