I had some draft notes here about first hearing Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass doing My Favourite Things, and how it was so brash and excellent that Herb Alpert's recent xmas album was quite blandly disappointing, and maybe sometimes you need the right group of people together to make something beautiful, but
