Wyrm Chatter - April 2024
Happy Spring everyone! I know I am eagerly awaiting the return of the sun (and hopefully thunderstorms!)
Current Projects
It’s the last week of The Roman Stars Volume II Kickstarter - you can check it out here if you have not already! I’ve been blown away by the support we’ve received for this book and I can’t wait for you all to read it!
Additionally, my first variant cover has been announced for Volume #10 of The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos - you can see a preview here!
I’ve also just finished up my work for Monolith, a self-published short comic written by Andrew Leamon, and a short story called "Daddy Damndest" for the Everyday Fears Anthology written by Matt McGrath. I had a blast with the monster designs for both of these so be sure to check those out!
Currently, I’m working on a few different secret comic projects! Nothing set in stone yet, but hopefully I’ll have exciting news soon!

Personal Updates
I am deep in stationery hell as always and have started taking my research notes on paper again! I'm really embracing combining hobbies I already love with habits I want to start doing more regularly. Today I’m taking notes on Reimena Yee’s Comic Devices website.
What I'm Reading/Watching/Playing
Books - Finally! Finally, finished Ovid’s Metamorphoses, translated by Stephanie McCarter. Very much enjoyed so many stories, my favorites were "The House of Sleep" and "The House of Rumor." Next on my list is The Iliad by Homer, Cursed Bunny by Bora
Chung & translated by Anton Hur, and Flowers of Mold by Ha Seong-nan & translated by Janet Hong.
Movies/TV/Videos - These aren’t recent, but I think about youtuber hazel’s “weird & kinda scary tokusatsu girls” & “The Bizarre Rabbit Hole of Direct To VHS Anime” almost everyday. There’s something about the editing of these videos that’s very satisfying and I love learning about more obscure media.

As always thank you for your support! I hope you have a wonderful Spring!
