Today, our ambitious project called Pilot Wisdom Management Engine is entering closed beta. I'm pretty excited.

Pilot is built to address the problem of valuable information gathering dust; old articles that have lost their SEO value, knowledge base entries in the old format, valuable information lost in the warren of Sharepoint. Based on some of the research in Latent Vector, Pilot’s mission is to promote data to wisdom, putting it back within reach in a non-deterministic mode.

Pilot’s website, like Pilot itself, is a work in progress. I think we focused too heavily on the “ad-supported website” use case - though that’s still the primary one - and we’re leaving out some of the platform’s potential. The implementation of the Pilot docs site was really eye-opening for me; this really is how docs sites should be.

“Closed beta” means we’re looking for people to sign up for Pilot and kick the tires. Onboarding, the various channels, bugs, missed use cases. Only cost is you bring your own AI key. A few bucks.
