East African humanist seminar to be held in Eldoret, Kenya

From August 15 to 22, a regional seminar will be held in Eldoret, Kenya to contribute to the training and strengthening of humanist action in East African communities. Participants from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Iceland, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda will attend in person, with online participation from all over the world. Del 15 al 22 de agosto se celebrará en Eldoret (Kenia) un seminario regional para contribuir a la formación y el fortalecimiento de la acción humanista en las comunidades de África Oriental. Participarán presencialmente personas procedentes de Burundi, República Democrática del Congo, Etiopía, Islandia, Kenia, Ruanda, Sudán, Tanzania y Uganda, y habrá participación en línea desde todo el mundo. Du 15 au 22 août, un séminaire régional se tiendra à Eldoret, au Kenya, afin de contribuer à la formation et au renforcement de l'action humaniste dans les communautés d'Afrique de l'Est. Participants from 55 countries attended the Forum’s 3rd Assembly

On July 19, the Third Assembly of the World Humanist Forum was held with the enthusiastic participation of some 170 activists from all continents. Here you can read a brief account of the proceedings in selected languages:

[ESP] Participantes de 55 países asistieron a la tercera asamblea del Foro. El 19 de julio se celebró la Tercera Asamblea del Foro Humanista Mundial, con la entusiasta participación de unos 170 activistas de todos los continentes. A continuación se ofrece un breve resumen de lo que ocurrió en la Asamblea en diferentes idiomas.

Le 19 juillet, la troisième assemblée du Forum humaniste mondial s'est tenue avec la participation enthousiaste de quelque 170 militants venus de tous les continents. Work continues in 16 Thematic Tables

The Thematic Tables are the backbone of the Humanist Forum, from the global scale to the scale of the residential neighbourhood. Their work is autonomous and decentralized. Their objective is to study and progressively understand the complex global phenomena of today’s world, while at the same time organize nonviolent global actions to build a more peaceful and just society. You can join the regular organizational meetings of existing tables, or propose the creation of new ones by writing to info@worldhumanistforum.org.

[ESP] Continúa el trabajo en 16 mesas temáticas. Las Mesas Temáticas son la columna vertebral del Foro. Su trabajo es autónomo y descentralizado. Su objetivo es estudiar y comprender progresivamente los complejos fenómenos globales del mundo actual, al tiempo que organizan acciones globales no violentas para construir una sociedad más pacífica y justa. Puedes unirte a las reuniones organizativas periódicas de las mesas existentes o proponer la creación de nuevas mesas escribiendo a info@worldhumanistforum.org.

[FR] Les travaux se poursuivent dans 16 tables thématiques. Les tables thématiques constituent la colonne vertébrale du Forum. Leur travail est autonome et décentralisé. Leur objectif est d'étudier et de comprendre progressivement les phénomènes mondiaux complexes du monde actuel, tout en organisant des actions mondiales non violentes pour construire une société plus pacifique et plus juste. Vous pouvez participer aux réunions organisationnelles régulières des tables existantes ou proposer la création de nouvelles tables en écrivant à info@worldhumanistforum.org.
