I dreamt that
due to a sudden magnetic twist
water was pulled into the earth;
the sea level fell, and in the antarctic
corpses of whales and scientists
that had clung to the undersides of ice
fell into the receding brine and enriched the sea
with their iron. soon all our taps would come out
brown with blood too. how much better
then, to awaken to this world.
