Upcoming Events: WICCA @Elastic, From Bytes to Cards & Dice & WICCON 2024

We are getting back in the groove and are very excited for what this year has to bring.
First up: WICCA @Elastic
On the 6th of March Elastic will be hosting us at their Amsterdam office (Keizersgracht 281)!
Doors open at 18.00 and the presentations by speakers from Elastic (Everything you wanted to know about Threat Detection Engineering by Kseniia Ignatovych) and ING (Using Security Metrics as an Enabler by Charu Bansal) begin at 18.30. Food, refreshments, and networking to follow. We wrap up at 21.00.

8th of March - International Women's Day
Let's celebrate early at the Elastic meetup, but don't forget the 8th of March!
The theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion.
When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world.
And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.
Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women.

WICCON 2024
Last night we had our very first WICCON 2024 orga meetup!
We already made some plans and we are happy to announce we agreed on the dates!
SO... Save the date: 31st of October AND 1st of November.
Do you want to be a part of the WICCON Org Team? Join us in the #black-cat-society channel in Discord.
We will be having bi-weekly 1-hour standups starting from Feb 19.

These are not meetings related to on-site volunteering, there will be more information about that later!
