Hi, y’all, it’s Keidra! Welcome to the new 2.0 “Fangirl Confessional” Newsletter. I’ve got some news to share!

A couple of months ago, I published a zine about growing up in fandom, called “Fangirl Confessional” (sound familiar?) It includes revised versions of essays that I published on my website The Learned Fangirl and in the original incarnation of this newsletter. I’m super proud of it, especially the fantastic cover from my friend Tina Furr. You can buy it online on my zine website, Wild Ramp Publishing, at Atomicbooks.com.

If you’d like to get it in person, you can pick it up at Atomic Books in Baltimore, in New York at Quimby’s NYC and at my sweet home Chicago at Quimby’s.

I’m now working on my next longform zine, a sequel to “Fangirl Confessional,” called “Act Your Age”. This one is about fandom in your 30s and beyond, and I want to include quotes and essays outside of my own experience.

I’m looking for stories, quotes, and art from my friends and mutuals in fandom — music, movies, TV, etc. — who have opinions and stories about fandom life at our big ages.

My deadline for responses to the questionnaire is June 30, and if you want to contribute an essay or art, the deadline is July 15.
